New date confirmed for Judas Priest
Friends of Release Athens,
Unfortunately, due to the ongoing Covid-19 vaccine issues in Europe,Judas Priest decided to postpone their 2021 tour and reschedule the dates for the summer of 2022. The new date for Greece is on Friday, July 15th 2022 at Plateia Nerou.
All tickets will be valid for the new date while the presale continues at staging.releaseathens.gr/en
We will return with more details when the necessary clarifications and the corresponding official announcements are made by the respective state agencies, regarding the planned cultural events. From our part, we’re in constant communication with the artists, but as everyone can understand everything depends on the pandemic and the decisions of the Greek government, factors that we’re not able to predict nor influence.
In any case, everyone’s safety -employees, audience, artists, contributors- remains our top priority.

Judas Priest formed in 1969 at Birmingham and they were destined to change the face of heavy metal.With time-defying records like Sin After Sin (’77), Hell Bent for Leather (’78), British Steel, (’80), Point of Entry (’81), Defenders of the Faith (’84), Painkiller (’90) and unforgettable songs like “Breaking the Law”, “Living After Midnight”, “Heading Out to the Highway”, “You’ve Got Another Thing Coming” and “Τurbo Lover”, they headlined the biggest festivals in the world.
Their latest studio album named Firepower (’18) proves once again that there are still a force to be reckoned with and now we have the chance to celebrate more than 50 years of pure heavy metal!
